All residents who evacuated with Westminster Woods on Julington Creek have returned home safely. Life is returning to normal at our community.

Over the past five days, we have witnessed many touching moments and heard heartwarming stories of interactions between residents and team members. Events like this encourage our team members to stretch and do things they never considered doing before. Thank you for choosing Westminster Woods on Julington Creek.

We are grateful for our sister communities who supported our campus during the evacuation, Westminster Oaks, Westminster St. Augustine, and Riverside Presbyterian House, as well as the Taylor Residences and Cathedral Care of Jacksonville. Staff members and residents at those communities opened their homes and hearts to care for us. In the weeks to come, we will be recognizing them in appreciation for the warm hospitality we received.

We are also grateful that our community was not impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Dorian. Please keep the citizens of the Bahamas, especially those living on Grand Bahama and the Abaco Islands, in your prayers.
